COURSE DESCRIPTION

Our group specializes in Continuing Nuclear Medicine Education and on an annual basis offers two review courses designed specifically for Nuclear Medicine and Radiology Technologists.


Our March Seminar is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists wishing to learn about the State-of-the-Art of Nuclear Medicine while earning 16 hours of VOICE Credit 

The March course, entitled State-of-the-Art of Nuclear Medicine, is designed to update Nuclear Medicine Technologists with the very latest in Nuclear Medicine while providing 16 hours of VOICE- approved Continuing Education credit. Included are topics such as Imaging with 18F FDG, Image Fusion Optimization, Marketing Nuclear Medicine, Current Status of Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, Lymphoscintigraphy Using Microwaved, Ultrafiltered 99mTc-sulfur colloid, Radioimmunotherapy, Hot Lab Quality Control, Neuroendocrine Tumor Imaging, and Advances in Imaging of Deep Vein Thrombosis and Infection.

Our May Course is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technology Students preparing for their NMTCB or ARRT(N) Examinations and for Nuclear Medicine Technologists wishing to review Basic Nuclear Medicine Science while earning 24 hours of VOICE Credit . 
 
 

The May/June course is approved for 24 hours of VOICE-credit and is designed to provide a comprehensive review of Radiopharmacy and Nuclear Medicine Physics for practicing Nuclear Medicine Technologists.  It also is designed to prepare Nuclear Medicine Technology Students for their NMTCB or ARRT(N) Examinations. This 3 day, 24 hour course covers Radiation Physics, Radiopharmacy, and related topics and an extensive practice examination is review during the last afternoon of the course.
